ស្រី សុធាវី - Executive Director
Srey Sotheavy, presently is executive director at the Alliance for Conflict Transformation (ACT). She started to step in peacebuilding work since 2009 as interfaith project manager, peace research, and deputy director at the Alliance for Conflict Transformation (ACT). Beside core work, she also involved in volunteer work with the Working Group for Peace (WGP) and other relate social activities work. Sotheavy graduated from Master of business and administration in general management from Build Bright University in 2010, graduated from Master of Art on Peace and Conflict Study from PUC in March 2022 and completed short courses on peacebuilding and leadership training from Philippine and Thailand. Sotheavy enjoys working with peacebuilding and hope a true spiritual conversion will respect the dignity, value of person, ethnic, and religious traditions. Peacebuilding is a long road that we must patience and walk together in humble and forgive to transform our communities and society. All communities in Cambodia need to join hands to make our region one in which our shared values of peace, compassion, love, justpeace, and harmony truly come to shape and characterize our society.

Hak is working for ACT since he was the program/project/admin volunteer and he was improved to project and office assistant till mid of 2013 he became the Finance and Admin Manager. He interested working with ACT is an NGOs that work focus on religion, Ethnic, and conflict. If work here he can contribute to social work and support society indirectly to people as working in organization is his former Goal. Especially, all Acts’ staff has good communication, relationship, attitude and Behaviors. Therefore, I want to live in Peaceful Society.

My name Odm, right after graduate from the master of Geological Engineering from Faculty of Engineering, Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia, I got opportunity to join ACT as project coordinator in youth empowerment project in October 2023. Since I started the project from the beginning, I noted that I made some progress in terms of work due to the provision of an opportunity to join ACT, later on I had promote to be project manager responsible on Communities Peacebuilding Project and Peace Journalism or Media for Peace project in March 2024, I certainly appreciate the atmosphere of working with ACT because of the colleagues in united and friendly, in addition to working as family in the organization, I have had many opportunities to participate in external events to expand communication and knowledge related to social development and in February 2025 I got opportunity to enroll in Applied Conflict Transformation Study Course. Furthermore, it is a great opportunity I gain more ideas to improve myself to contribute creativity to complete my project with fruitful.

Mr. EAN LeangSeng, Female Trans-Gender; interested working with ACT because ACT is a non-profit organization, non-discrimination dedicated to building peace through innovative research and practice within different sector especial for the purpose of supporting and development communities. I am happy to be promoted from the Project assistant to project coordinate take care of the ISAF project that I will learn more in governance of this country to contribute work with local authority and community more accountable. អ៊ុំ សុរចនា UM Sorachna - Project Facilitator

UM Sorachna is currently working as a project facilitator of gender, women, peace and security project with the Alliance for Conflict Transformation organization. She has received a bachelor’s degree in international relations from The University of Cambodia (UC) in 2024. She started her social and political development activities in 2020 when she was a youth club leader and continue being a project staff at a non-governmental organization in 2021 who trained university students about fundamental legal terms, human right laws, advocacy mechanism, democratic leadership, and democratic governance. She has recently joined Alliance for Conflict Transformation organization in April 2025, she completed many short training short courses on peace building, human right, and gender education in Cambodia. Rachan’s mission in peace building is a long way to go. She believes everyone shall have the opportunity to reach their own full potential regardless of their gender, ethnicity, religion, color, or any other social status.

យ៉ិន ជីលីកា YIN Jilika - Internship

YIN Jilika is currently working as an intern at Alliance for Conflict Transformation organization. She is presently a fourth-year student majoring in Public Administration at Royal University of Laws and Economics (RULE). She is interested in the Alliance for Conflict Transformation organization because she is interested to learn and improve her experience in peacebuilding, in gender and relate peace work; she is eager to involve herself further with ACT with the hope that she can produce more positive social initiatives. She hopes that girls and women could unlock their potential and achieve their goal in regardless of their gender. Moreover, she expects to learn from other people and continue keeping her involvement with social activities.
